Terms of use
The rules of the site: what you can expect from it and what it expects from you.
Last updated: August 22, 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the use of PokémonGoMenorca. By creating an account or using the site you accept them, together with the legal notice and the privacy policy. If you disagree with any of them, do not use the service.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 14 to register on your own.
- The details you provide must be truthful, and your trainer name must be the one you actually use in the game.
- Using the app requires verifying your profile with a screenshot of your in-game profile screen. That is what keeps the community made of real players and makes levels and medals mean something.
- One person, one account. Duplicate accounts and impersonation are not allowed.
- You are responsible for your password and for what is done from your account.
3. What you may contribute, and how
You can propose gym corrections, organise meetups and publish what you are looking for and what you can offer in trades. In doing so you undertake that the content is truthful, your own and respectful.
Content is not allowed if it:
- is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or harassing;
- impersonates someone else or discloses third parties' data without their permission;
- is advertising, spam or promotion of paid services;
- promotes cheating, account sharing, location spoofing or other practices that breach the game's own terms;
- is deliberately false, such as an invented gym proposal or a meetup that does not exist.
You keep ownership of whatever you publish. By publishing it you grant only the free, non-exclusive licence needed to display, store and distribute it within the site, for as long as the content remains published.
4. Moderation
Gym proposals and meetup requests are reviewed before being published. We may edit, decline or remove any content that breaches these terms, and suspend or delete an account in case of serious or repeated breaches. Wherever possible the reason will be explained.
You can close your account whenever you wish by writing to the contact address.
5. Meetups
Meetups are organised by users, not by the site. Whoever organises one is responsible for the activity they propose, and whoever attends does so at their own risk. The site merely publishes them so the community knows about them.
Where minors take part in a meetup, it is for their legal guardians to decide on and supervise their attendance.
6. Trades
The trading section only works out what you are missing and who you match with. The site takes no part in any trade, does not manage or guarantee it, and offers no contact channel: there is no chat and no messaging. The trade itself happens inside the game, and contact happens elsewhere.
7. Availability
This is a personal, free project: it is offered as is, with no availability commitment. There may be outages, changes to features or, in time, closure of the service. Should it close for good, reasonable notice will be given so you can keep your data.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for damages arising from use of the site, from community-contributed information or from being unable to access it. None of the above excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, particularly towards consumers.
9. Changes and applicable law
These terms may be updated; significant changes will be announced inside the app. Spanish law applies, with the courts stated in the legal notice.
